The project aims at restoring two volumes for living in to the principal building. At the moment these edifices are in a state of dilapidation which depreciates the area. The property faces a road axis improved over the years by new residential settlements.
The volumes, under present conditions, do not allow a restoration because, further to the dilapidation state, they underwent indiscriminate interventions that have depraved the original structure and endangered the stability.
To restore the urban situation with respect to the public road and to re-establish a relation of subordination with the existing farmhouse, the project substitutes the old unsafe bodies with new volumes. These latter derives the typical structure of Lombard farmhouses and, therefore, the original principle of volumes annexed and subordinated to San Giuseppe farmhouse.
